John Hendy

Pilot, poet, and perpetual observer of the absurd.

After a long career in Corporate Finance and Technology, John is now an aerial survey pilot flying missions across several mid-western states — trading spreadsheets for sectional charts, and boardrooms for cockpits.

In his spare time, he writes whimsical poems about nature, the USA, and the random observations that accumulate when you spend a lot of time looking down at the world from above.

He is interested in K–12 education and is gaining experience as a substitute teacher in Gwinnett County, Georgia, where he lives.
